A guided and tasted visit of the richest market of Montpellier

Marine will take you to discover the most famous market of Montpellier, the one everybody talks about : the « Arceaux » market ! Almost exclusively dedicated to food, this market is located right under the ancient aqueduct Saint Clément. It gathers farmers of the whole Occitanie region (largest region in the South of France, its most important cities being Toulouse and Montpellier), who are proud to represent it through their products.

Gourmets can find every professionals one could dream of : master cheese ripeners, bakers, pâtissiers, butchers, fish merchants, and of course producers that supply the market with their ultra-fresh farm products. Those include fruits, vegetables, shellfish from the Thau lagoon, honey from the Cevennes Mountains, and many other ones. The producers will be happy to have you taste a variety of their delights and to discuss with you about their love for quality, about the way they work, and about the specificities of the regional land.

We will conclude with a coffee on a terrace, in order to go on with the tastings in a holiday atmosphere.
